Wellness for ourselves and our culture

"The human voice is the organ of the Soul." ~ Longfellow
Therapeutic YogaVoice® is a unique application of the YogaVoice® program that brings clients to deeper states of Self-awareness. Therapeutic YogaVoice® works to untangle the stress-based knots and patterns (samskaras) that may be at the heart of a client's suffering. We promote wellness on all levels of body, mind, and spirit to support the client in a healthy lifestyle.
Injuries to the voice, no matter how great or small, often create a broader state of anxiety, stress, and traumatic sensations in the injured person. As a specific healing modality, Therapeutic YogaVoice® can be incorporated in a wellness plan to help individuals who are working with voice injuries or disorders. Therapeutic toning, chanting, and singing are united with Comprehensive Yoga Therapy to help the client reduce stress, promote systematic wellness, and find deeper personal understanding.
Therapeutic YogaVoice® is often also incorporated as a lifestyle mentoring practice for individuals seeking to gain vocal freedom and authenticity in their communication skills. YogaVoice® for Fearless Public Speaking was featured in the May 2014 Yoga Journal Magazine.
Conditions supported by Therapeutic YogaVoice® include:
