Marie Ferguson, mezzo-soprano, is a dynamic performer, teacher, and administrator based in Miami, FL. She received her Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, under the tutelage of Susan Quittmeyer. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Women’s & Gender Studies from Rutgers University.
Marie enjoys working with singers of all ages and abilities to help them discover their authentic voices. She has experience teaching children and adults as well as working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Through cultivating an open and compassionate environment, she gives students space to discover their voices.
Additionally, Marie works with instrumentalists using YogaVoice®. She enjoys sharing the benefits of the YogaVoice® technique and watching performers connect to their bodyminds and relate to their instruments in new ways. She aims to continue sharing YogaVoice® with the instrumental world.
