  • Specialty:  Supporting university and high school age students and professional voice users to cultivate trust in the inherent wisdom of their BodyMinds and the artistry that resides therein.

Sarah Hall is Assistant Professor of Voice at Brandon University (Manitoba, Canada) where she teaches voice, diction, chamber music, vocal pedagogy and yoga.  Sarah’s long time study and practice of Classical, Ashtanga, and Hatha Yoga coalesces with her YogaVoice® certification in studio, helping students to cultivate authentic awareness of breath, physical alignment, and mind.  An active chamber musician, Sarah appears regularly with Polycoro, one of Canada’s premier chamber choirs, Canzona Baroque Choir (Winnipeg) and the Clear Lake Chamber Music Festival.  As a recitalist, Sarah specializes in early twentieth century French repertoire, from Poulenc to Poldowski and beyond.  Sarah is actively engaged in a variety of long-term research projects, including work on wellbeing in the voice studio, and the exploration of performance-analysis intersections in the songs of Poldowski with theorist, Gretta Sayers. She holds Master of Music Degrees in Voice and Musicology from the New England Conservatory (Boston) and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  Sarah is currently completing RYT-200 certification.
